Inclusive barbering
No pressure.
No rush.
For some people a haircut can be a lot: noise, touch, unfamiliar tools, waiting and a new environment. Andy & Marvin's can slow things down and adapt the visit around the individual.
Meet Theo
Trust changes the experience.
When Theo first came in, haircuts were overwhelming. Loud trimmers, unfamiliar sounds and new surroundings made it tough. With patience, trust and consistency, he has come a long way — from feeling scared to being able to sit far more calmly during his haircut.
What can help
Quiet appointment times
Ask whether a calmer time can be arranged when the shop is less busy.
Gentle introductions
Tools and sounds can be introduced gradually instead of all at once.
Individual pace
There is no need to rush through a visit simply because a normal appointment would.
Children and adults are welcome.
The shop's approach is intended for anyone who benefits from extra understanding, including people with autism, sensory sensitivities or other additional needs. The useful information is practical: what tends to be difficult, what helps, whether a quieter time is preferable, and how much time may be needed.
There is no requirement to explain more than you are comfortable sharing. A short conversation before the first appointment can often make the visit easier.

The principle
The haircut matters. So does how it feels.
The aim is not to force someone through the usual routine. It is to create enough familiarity and trust for the haircut to become manageable — and, over time, perhaps ordinary.
